The 2024 Changchun International Optoelectronic Expo will be held from June 18 to 20, 2024, at the Northeast Asia International Expo Center in Changchun. As the birthplace of modern optics in China, Changchun holds historical significance in the field—it hosted China's first optics research institute, nurtured pioneering optical scientist Daheng Wang, witnessed the development of China's first ruby laser, and is home to the nation's only national-level museum dedicated to optical science and technology.
With the theme "Photonics for the Future", this year's expo will feature exhibition showcases, conferences, and a series of related events. Key events will include the Opening Ceremony of the Expo and Optoelectronic Industry Innovation Conference, the 2024 Light International Conference, academic and applied research meetings in optoelectronics, and the Second Meeting of the Changchun Expert Committee on the Optoelectronic Information Industry.
